can some one help me or give me advise regarding part time job? im in my 20s and single. i have much time for myself. i work now three 12 hours shift. i'm thinking to start a second job(two 12 hrs shift). I'm concerned to take it because i know that i have to do orientation at the new medical center for about a week. i just don't know what to say and not go to work for a week... to attend orientation at other hospital for pt job.... i do really need the second job since it is a great trauma center... i don't want also to make my current employer sad. i don't know how to get that week off to do my orientation pls give me some ideas???

if you are working 3 days a week at your current job, can you take vacation days? i know it may not be the best way, but you can take vacation and what you do on your "vacation" is your own business. If you think you have the time for a 2nd job, then go for it. there is nothing wrong with doing that, you will gain so much more experience! your current employer dont have to know what you are doing! good luck!
