How Do I Know If I Want to Be a Nurse?Where can I volunteer/intern without experience

I have graduated from college with a BA in Psychology. I am now considering entering a program offered for students who have a BA/BS in a field other than nursing who want to get their MSN (in 3 years).

But first!! I want to know IF nursing is for me! My mom is an RN and I have spoken with her, but I would really like to be able to experience something for myself before I make such a big commitment to my education.

It seems that volunteer/internships/and jobs require experience or education- neither of which I have.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to know if I want this as my career???

Thanks for reading!
