Does anyone have any advice about how to break into homecare? I'm an older LPN at an LTC and am having trouble keeping up with the pace. It seems like everytime I turn around the "Top of the Foodchain" is on me for something. Of course they never notice anything I do right. I'm single so I need fulltime and the benefits. I've looked into homecare and in most cases they don't even use LPN's and the ones that do can't guarantee fulltime hours. Are there any suggestions? Is there anything an LPN can do that doesn't tie your hip to the medcart?
