I just wanted to introduce myself and my name is Kathy and I am interested in going to nursing school...It has always been a dream of mine but I haven't looked too much into it just yet but I am now starting...Have any of you worked in a newborn care unit?? Hi welcome to the boards...i hope it helps in your decision of what direction to take in nursing. I work in geriatrics/nursing home...I originally chose to work towards L&D, but in my LPN rotation in L&D I decided it wasn't for me, so after looking at all the aspects I decided Geriatrics was where I wanted to be. What a decision huh? Such different ends of nursing! LOL Good luck in what you do and we are here to help you out.
