Resume folding & sending

Hi All,
I have my resume done, but I have read on a couple of sites that you should not fold your resume. What are your thoughts on this? If I do not fold it, what type of envelope should I put it into and it still look professional? Also, what should be mailed with my resume? Hospital application, cover letter and references all at the same time? Also, can I spray a little perfume on it so they will remember me? No, no I am just joking on the last one...... Another question about my resume, do I mail one to the hospital or should I wait for an interview and then take it with me to the interview?
Thanks for any input!

~~ Annette

Re: Folding a resume?

I've seen plenty of folded resumes placed into legal sized envelopes, but if you are concerned, buy manila envelopes that fit a full page.
