Where are the burn unit RNs getting their education. Do you have any specializations if so, where did you get them. Are you required to work on a specific floor before transferring to the burn unit? etc. Thanks for your help!!!

For the most part RN's learn on the floor. There is a great burn unit in Detroit at the Children's Hospital of Michigan (all peds). Check it out to see if they are hiring.

Is there a difference in pay as a burn unit nurse versus a RN on any other floor??

Is there a pay difference for burn unit nurses versus any other RN?? And what kind of benefits do they get...or is it the same for all RNs in a hospital setting??
