Re: corporate office to nursing?

It is a very stressful job; anyhow, if you know what you are doing, there is always a job for you....no need to worry about out of work.

I am one of those people. I am not really happy, but working in corporate environment was not a truly enjoyable experience either. Good things about nursing are pay and job security. Good things about working in the office is normal hours, paid holidays, weekends off. In the office you got to wear nice clothes, and treated as professional. I would never dream of anyone raising voice at me in the office. In the hospital, you are constant target for everybody's frustrations. Patients, families, doctors and administration do not treat you as a professional. Perhaps because they do not think that you are one.
