Change Jobs?????????

I have been an LPN for 4 years in long term care. I have been at the same nursing home right out of school. I love the nursing hame and have had great opportunities. I started as a floor nurse for 1 year, MDS coordinator for 1 year now I am the Medicare case manager (also acting as medicaid nurse) for 2 years. This in most states is a job only given to RNs. I have gained great experience doing so but feel I am ready for change. I want to go to the hospital but I am scared to death that I have lost clinical experience already.............any advise??????????

Re: Change Jobs?????????

I have a feeling it would all come back to you, W/ little assist from helpful staff. I would bet if you found your weren't comfortable in hospital job, your ex employer would easily hire you back, for similar duties you performed there(although not exactly,as they would have replaced you for another mds coordinator, and medicaid manager.
