Smile business manager looking at career change

I'm a 46 year old male with a four year degree in business. I am very good with people in good and bad situations, have managed large staffs and am not sensitive to blood, urine, or other bodily fluids. I am asking this question due to my age, sex, schooling, ect. The nursing profession offers many job opportunities and in my current profession of golf management(jobs at high level are very limitied) I have moved many times to upgrade the courses operation. I do not want to move anymore and am interested in transfering my desire to help people from recreation to medical. anyone in the trenches thoughts on this. My aunt has been a RN for 35 years and I have not discussed this with her and my family because I have been an athlete all my life and they will probably laugh at me.

I have always been a good mentor for younger people now I guess I'm looking for input from real RN's.
