I'm sorry, VANCIALA. When I responded to your private e-mail earlier today, I didn't place it in the context of this discussion and may not have answered as well as I can.
For going to medical school, you might be better off going the standard "pre-med" route at the bachelor's level. That would probably get you all the courses that most med schools look for. It would also give you the best chance to demonstrate how well you can compete with the other pre-med students for top scores.
But I would talk to the academic advisors of the pre-med program at the college of your choice before making a final decision. Let's face it "a bunch of nurses" like you will find on this bulletin board don't have expertise at getting into medical schools. For that expertise, you should go to the people who deal regularly with the med school admissions process.
