Being Confused in New Jersey

I currently live in somersey county and find my self in a confusing place. I went to Raritan valley community college for a year and had decided to change my major. I went from Education to Nursing. With going to RVCC, I would need to take Human Anatomy I & II then wait a year. This is because there are so many people on the list to get into the Nursing department at RVCC. Then I would be able to take my nursing classes.

Would it benefit me to go to another college like middlesex community college? Does middlesex community college have the year wait period?

Also, should I become a Physician assistants instead of a registered nurse? If I was going to try to become a physician assistant then where should I go to get the degree so I can become a physician assistant?
