What ingredients are in your Ben and Jerrys?

I think I'll stick to their organic brand or some other organic brand or better yet, make my own. At least I'll know what is in it. Yuck!!!!

Does Unilever make Ben and Jerry's? Was this story run on a more well known source?

The article says they own Ben and Jerrys. I don't know if there is another source. It's frustrating with these kinds of articles trying to get their sources.
Sometimes you can't. However, I would guess there will be other info on using this kind of protein. I'm only surprised to be hearing about it three years after they have been using it in the US. Also, I don't like the idea of fish protein in my ice cream. Until, it's proven otherwise, I will abstain from Unilever's products, but will continue to look for other sources.

A link to Ben and Jerry's is premature at this point, as Ben and Jerry's has always operated largely independent of Unilever. They don't use the protein and they've sharply criticized Unilever for its use in other Unilever products. Even an administrator from the Soil Association (the big critic of the protein) agrees that Ben and Jerry's is showing sound decision-making in not using the protein.

THANK YOU! I was really losing my faith in those guys! But, their recipe book is really good.
