How many nurses today in the new brave world of today carry guns so they can protect themselves, their family. and others against senseless violence that is occuring more frequently

I carry the CPR airway mask, and gloves, but know little about EMS stuff. I do keep a first aid kit in the car, but it is mostly for me and family use - I am traveler.

I own guns and am licensed in my home state but I generally don't carry them with me, due to being unfamiliar with the laws in other states, and varying rules with transporting them across state lines, in apartment dwellings and airline rules.

I do carry with me a custom made baseball bat engraved with my name. If you come across any felons, with "caroladybelle" imprinted on bruised anatomy in your ER, let me know (It's been used twice, during breakins and was very effective).

I do carry a 1st aid kit, actually a "car emergency" kit, for break downs, earthquakes and the like.

I don't carry weapons. I'm inept enough that I'd probably hurt myself 1st, and then need the 1st aid kit.

As far as myself, no firstaid kit anymore, that spot in my car is overwhelmed with golf stuff. I aint using my clubs as splints. Not a chance

Yes I carry a handgun, almost all the time Im not at work. Have I used it no. Have I had to brandish it yes, didnt have to use just the site of it, changed their minds.

My husband wants me to carry a gun but I won't in fear of someone seeing it. We have a no weapons policy

He says getting fired is better than getting dead but I stick with the pepper spray keychain
