Re: Theory

Dee,
I learned it while completing my BSN at a local college of nursing. At first it drove me crazy; mostly because I'm an older nurse who never heard of nurse theorists before, and partly because of the instructor who presented it to us initially. Over time it made sense and I was able to incorporate it into my papers and care plans. My employer, however, does not base nursing care on the Neuman Model. In what arena are you using the Neuman Model?
