Smile patient positioning

Hi,
I am a student and need some help. This is my first post. What is the correct way to position a patient with scoliosis? Do you place them on the concave side or the other side. I can't find this anywhere. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: patient positioning

Lying on the concave side would probably compromise breathing. If they are compos mentis enough ask them how they lie and which position is most comfortable.
