I need your help! I have an interview next Friday for an ICP position. I am not an RN, but have a BS and MS in Medical Microbiology and lots of volunteer experience in hospitals. I have also taught micro. I am still in shock that I got this interview since I was sure I'd have to be an RN...but this is really what all of my schooling has prepared me for. I was just hoping that you could give me some insight into the career and what I can expect at the inteerview. I am meeting with the Quality and Infection Control Director. I am pretty educated in today's infection control problems in hospitals, but like I said this would be entry level for me. Any advice is welcome!
