I am wondering what policies you have in regards to floating med /surg staff, who may have cared for Infections pts and then going to cover in OB ? Is your unit a closed unit? If not does certain staff only float to ob, like those who care for surgical/clean pts? This is a hot topic and Icould use some info. If you wish to mail your policy send to:
