Does anyone know anything about the CLNC program I have seen on the Internet? I live in a very rural area and drive 50 miles one way to work as a clinical documentation specialist at a nearby hospital. Diesel prices are killing me.!! (I hold RN-ADN license) I desperately need to find something I can use my license to work from home but have been scammed in the past. Is the CLNC thing worth it? Can it truly replace my full time salary at the hospital.

It can but its hard. One of my coworkers went thru the class and does it on the side, but it was expensive to complete. You have to have a good foundation/experience to be able to do it effectively. She charges 250.00 just to review a chart/case and then charges by the hour for any court appearance and drive-time. But I think once you get established, the work would come to you.
