I've just begun this really good (but kind of depressing) book by Suzanne Gordon. I am a nursing student, but in my clinicals and during my summer internship I have witnessed 80 - 90% of the things Ms. Gordon speaks about in her first chapters.

Is anyone out there interested in a discussion about the book -- keeping it constructive and focussed? I'd love to be able to talk about the issues more at length.

I liked the book, I read it right up. While I identified with her analysis of the situation, as it exists, I completely disagreed with her conclusions.
