Does anyone know if WA does a fingerprinting if you apply for licensure by verification from another state? I know they do a background check and I have past DUIs, I'm wondering if they do a fingerprint for their background check because I've heard those tend to take much longer to process. Anyone had any experience with the WA BON with this sort of thing? Did they ask for fingerprints? How long did it take to get a license? Thanks!!

Your best bet is to talk to their state board of nursing. I don;t know what a DUI would do to getting your license in WA, but I think they do not require fingerprinting.
