There is another thread about the new nurse on ER so I already said this but - I too thought as a new employee she came on very strong and rude at times and thought the comment about calling her "doc" was obnoxious. Also, the way she treated Sam was wrong - even though I cannot stand Sam's character . . . you just don't start work alienating your co-workers like that. She seemed arrogant and condescending to me.
Sheesh - must we only have the two extremes . . wimpy like Sam or a ballbreaker like the new nurse manager?
And yeah, I did think the storyline dying out about the burn guy was weird . . .

I think that this is a very over compensated response to the letter writing and fury that came from the Cynthia Nixon episode if you remember she made the most ignorant comment that implied we were not educated and were just MD helpers, HOW STUPID I like Cynthia Nixon but she should have thought twice about that comment, oh the Comment was ( she was looking at the Healthcare providers around her and she looked at the former nurse now doctor and said she is smiling so it can be that bad and made some comment about Dr. Kovach, and then looked at Sam and said and I quote" How would she know shes just the nurse" WELL I WAS DONE THEN AND THERE,

and I wrote me a letter as did thousands of Nurses, oh well, I think they are trying to compensate for stupid stuff like that and plus they have true competion now, HOW ABOUT GREYS ANATOMY, so I guess you do what you need to to keep ratings. and that what I think about it although I did enjoy it a bit deep inside, but in real life it wasn't the best way to handle the situation and she was inappropriate in her manner of getting her point across, but it was fun.
