Re: They called the cops!

I leave two minutes from work, and its a small town. We all know where the others live at. I'm always thirty to forty five minutes early (gives me extra time to prepare, look over meds, pt charts, ect), and I oversleep one day. Didn't hear the phone. At 7:05 I got a knock on the door. They sent the CNA to get me out of bed

I came in 10 minutes late one day....the previous shift was already dialing my home and panicking.
Ditto Caroladybelle,
but as a new orient in a huge hospital where I seem to not do anything right, I wonder if anyone would give a hoo-ha if I showed or whether they'd just write me up for it.

I'm always afraid that something will happen to me and no one will know until the smell hits the neighbors.

PS...always know your neighbors!
