Red face seeking advise for new Veterans Home nurse

I just got a new job at the local Veterans nursing home and from what i saw durring the interview, it is a whole other world than what i am used to. i have worked in LTC for 12 years in 3 different nursing homes. i know that the VA home is "LTC" but things are so different. what advise can you offer to a LPN who is starting a new job in the same area but it is so different?

Re: seeking advise for new Veterans Home nurse

Taylor, you posted in 2006, advice from me, don't make "friends", but be friendly, do your job and watch your back. I hope you find a job you can enjoy.
