Question RN Pins

Hey, can anybody tell me some places to purchase Nursing Pins for a Graduation ceremony? We've found a couple of websites, but I thought some of you may have some suggestions. Thanks.

Re: RN Pins

Your school should be able to give you some resources as well as the internet. When I graduated our school had someone come in and give us options if we wanted them.

Re: RN Pins

At the Universityof Michigan we got our pins from Balfours Jewelers. That was years and years ago but I know Balfours is still in business in many places.

Re: RN Pins

Do a google search of your local area. I am in Boston and I immediately forund several uniform companies & comapnies who sell class rings for high school who could accomidate a particular school emblem.

Re: RN Pins

Ours was purchased through our college. They had only one style and it was what they had used forever and a day.

But, that was 12 years ago and things may have changed since then.

Re: RN Pins

In this area, as far back as I am aware, nursing grads purchased their pins directly from the school of nursing; we had options like plated, gold filled, 10k, 14k but the pins had the insig of the school/hospital that you were graduating from. Around here, you can tell where someone graduated from just by their pin - like you used to be able to do based on the design of their nursing caps...I'm dating myself now...

Try Balfour, Jostens, and the John Grey (Gray?) Awards Company.

You can find old ones from ruby lane. Just type in nursing pins.

I ordered my pin from the above link. I ended up getting the one with the diamond that says RN. It ended up being much cheaper than the ones my school was selling and looks much nicer too. I received it pretty quickly and have been happy with it. Of course it just stays in my jewelry box.
