Way cool.

The best line in her first column on nurses has got to be:

"Anonymous blurs in scrubs, they left behind an imprint of compassion..."

Well I can already tell that I'm going to be the lone ranger on this but that was just embarassing to read. That made us sound like a bunch of whiny crybaby victims....no crybaby martyrs. Working med-surg, I had some bad, bad nights I will be honest but my entire career has not been some long continous nightmare of abuse and victimization.

I appreciated the first column tremendously. It was a little heavy on the angel imagery but overall it was good stuff. This made me cringe. The worst part was knowing that she is only writing exactly what other nurses wrote. Are we really so powerless and helpless?
