Recovery after hysterectomy

I am scheduled to have a TVH with bladder sling here soon, and was just looking for others' experience regarding how soon you were able to return to work afterwards? I have six weeks scheduled off, but am worried about jumping right back in to 12-hour shifts in the hospital.
