Hi - I'm presently a GS-11 nurse in Florida, and have applied for a position at RAF Lakenheath in the UK. It looks like this is a contract position. All I know about it is that my unit's CNS sent out an email about there being some nurses needed to take jobs there & of course I want one!
Has anybody/does anybody currently work at RAF Lakenheath & can you tell me about the civilian nurses there? Looks like travel/housing, etc., is paid or given allowances for.
