Worried - Procedure Carts!

Hi,
I am trying to find out what are the major things nurses like or dislike about their procedure carts. What would you do, or have you done, to make yours better? Why do I want to know? I am going to try to design them so they work better! Here's your chance to tell me what needs to be done! Thanks!

Re: Procedure Carts!

The biggest thing you can do is to find a way to ensure it stays STOCKED!!

It grieved me to no end to pull our line cart out and find that it hadn't been restocked. Fortunately our manager is super anal and has instituted a log book that has to be signed every time the cart is used, and the key has to be gotten from the charge nurse. It mostly works.

Ditto. Restocking it is vital.

Re: Procedure Carts!

I really hate finding that that no one has checked dates and noted that supplies are expired.
