Well, right after Mothers Day I started to spot. It was a pinkish color and at times slightly brown. That lasted a day or two. Now I started heavy bleeding with cramping, and alot of it. Usually my cramps are moderate and last a day, these have been going on for many days now.
Here is where I get worried. I have been tired and sick to my stomach alot lately. So I took a pregnancy test and it said it was negative. Then today, I went into the bathroom and used the toliet. All of the sudden I feel something just slide out and a huge plop in the toliet. I looked and it was about 4 to 6 inches long. I started to panic. I had this weird feeling that maybe I was having a miscarriage. I actually tried to get what it was out of the toliet but it eventually slid to the back of the toliet and I couldnt retrieve it.
I have never had anything like that happen or seen anything like that in the toliet while I have been on my period. I called my doctor and I guess they felt no need to panic too much so I go in for a check up on Monday.
I am just sitting here making myself nuts wondering if this was or is a miscarriage. I have looked up signs and symptoms and I have a few of them but not all. I am still crampy and tired as can be. I just dont feel very well at times during the day. I am still bleeding but its not really heavy but just enough that I have to wear a bigger pad.
Is there a chance the pregnancy test was wrong this week when I took it even though I was already bleeding? What do you think? Should I even be worrying if this was a miscarriage? Your comments are appreciate. I just need to get some sort of an answer to ease my uncontrolable mind.
Not a nurse yet, but thought i would advise you to keep the docs appointment. I had a miscarriage and the cramping and bleeding was a lot more painful than a regular period, there was a lot more blood and tissue. A lot of times you pass all of the remants on your own, but sometimes not all of it comes out and medical treatment is required. Definitely keep your doctor's appointment and if you start bleeding really heavy again you might need to go into urgent care or ER before next monday because you don't want to lose too much blood. try to rest, it is really painful and takes a lot out of you both emotionally and physically.
