Personal Statment Question

I have to write a personal statement for grad school..my problem is I keep writing these flowery statements, works well with people, enthusiastic, dynamic, etc. and having trouble verbalizing the "meat" behind it. Any suggestions? t.

Get some friends to describe you...then when you get over the shock, you'll probably be able to do a better job!

Hi T,
I don't really have any good suggestions, but I wanted to offer you my sympathy! I'm working on my personal statement for grad school today (my deadline's 12/1). I think I'm going to try to do a good rough draft, and then I'm going to use the editing service Essay Edge to help me clean it up. Supposedly, they have editors that have experience with Nursing personal statements. I'd love to hear if you find any good information!

Good luck!
Hillary
