Re: Per Diem Question

Per diem is usally as per needed. I used to work perdiem at my hospital. I had no benefits but was paid a much higher rate and i could schedule my hours that i wanted to work. Per diem is usually the first to be called off, and sometimes put on call. If my dh's job had benefits i would still be perdiem i loved it!

Re: Per Diem Question

How do you get paid though, weekly?

One more question: Do hospitals usually pay weekly or biweekly?

Re: Per Diem Question

It all depends on how the hospital pays. I got paid every two weeks.

Re: Per Diem Question

So lets say I got a fulltime job at a hospital but I wanted to make extra money. Could I work at that hospital or at aother hospital as per diem to make extra cash?
