i work in home health and if we could find an OT we would be so excited, i think it is a wide open field, and from what i have heard/seen pay much better than RN. not sure but may pay more than PT

Re: occupational therapy?

I've been debating over nursing or OT school for a year and a half. After I was not accepted into a community college nursing program last semester, I decided to get my master's in OT. I already have a B.S., and there are many programs out there specifically for people w/bachelors'. It will take about the same amount of time...2 years (including summers).
Ultimately, I chose OT because the OT's I worked with at a school all loved their jobs (except for paperwork...but that's every where you go). Imagine I job where you get to play all day...well at least that's the area of OT i want to be in (w/DD population)

I'll let you know after I start in August. Gross Anatomy and neuro are both challenging (from what I've been told). But if you've done ok in A&P, you should be ok.
