Nursing - Top Pick/Best Jobs in America

I don't know if any of you have seen this, but CNNMONEY has ranked nursing as the number 2 best profession for the young and restless to go into. Number 1 was Product/Brand Manager. Nursing also took the top 20 for Parents Returning to Work.

CNNMoney describes you as Young & Restless if:
You've been in the job long enough to know what you want: more pay, more upside and more control over where you're going.
Parents Returning to Work:
You traded working lunches for PTA meetings and PB&Js. Now you want a challenging job that can bend to make room for family life.
Directly from the site:
Talk about a guaranteed job: The Bureau of Labor Statistics expects demand for nurses to be way above average for all occupations through 2014. You can specialize in a variety of areas and work in settings frommajor hospitals to patients' homes. If you've got management experience, you can move into administration.

This is all good news for me.
I was a Liberal Arts major.

CNNMONEY also said this:
Liberal arts majors, on the other hand, may not have the banner year they did last year, as early numbers suggest a dip in starting salaries for those majoring in English and art history (my old major). As of February, the average starting salary for liberal arts majors is $30,502 (), down 1.1 percent from last year, according to NACE.
