Help! - Nursing Policies/Procedures

Anyone have any idea where to get info about writing nursing policies and procedures? My husband is being named administrator for our county's jail and he wants me to be the DON. Any ideas where to start?????? Any info would be appreciated.

can you contact any counties near you and see what they have for policies? i bet they could hep you. good luck on your new job... keep us posted..

The state probably has considerable regulations on county lockups - your state department of corrections may provide info.
