No BP & sticks to arms when Pt has B. CA?

I have a dumb question to ask. Why do we not put BP cuff or stick to the side that pt has Breast CA? Is it poss. for CA to spread if doing so?
Also, when no arm is available for cuff and if I need to put cuff on leg, where is the proper location for cuff? the Calf or ankle?

No BP's or sticks because of the lymph transport system. You can do calf or thigh pressures, follow hospital policy and procedure or get an MD order.
