When I took the NCLEX it turned off after 75 questions. I passed. the number of questions does not determine how well or poor you did. How do you feel? I felt that since the questions were way to easy that I had failed. Let us know how you did.

It means you answered enough questions that you either passed or failed.

In othe words, there is no way to know by the number of questions you answered.

MY QUESTIONS WERE MAINLY ON DRUGS AND CALCULATIONS
THE EXAM WAS VERY VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME IT CAME HARDER AND HARDER UNTIL I FINISHED . I THOUGHT I WOULD HIT NO. 265. I GOT RELIEVED WHEN THE COMPUTER SHUT OFF ON QUEST NO. 150, I WAS OVERWHELMED. I AM DEVASTATED.

Hi

Unfortunately very hard to predict so need to wait for results but check out the NCLEX forum for support whilst you wait, can be found by clicking on the student tab near the top of the page. Good luck

I would also suggest checking out the International forum as currently most foreign nurses are affected by retrogression and you can find that forum by clicking the local tab

Could I suggest not typing completely in capitals as classed as shouting plus makes hard reading

It's looking for your level. From what I hear, if it gets harder as you go, you're doing better. If it stays the same, you're "riding the line" between passing and failing. If it gets easier, you're in deep kimchee. While I was waiting, I was very worried because it threw me a bunch of stuff I'd never heard of, then someone explained this to me and sure enough I found out I passed.

It means it took you 150 to pass or fail. The type and number of questions is not an indicator of whether you passed or failed. Good luck!!!!

(Please don't type in all caps. See Terms of Service as to why.)

Nurse Re: Nclex-rn Result Clue Please.
I'm hear to say I'm not sure what 150 questions mean, but I was one of the lucky people to have to answer all 265 questions. Very stressful, overwhelming, and exhausting. I thought for sure I was doomed. Someone had told me if you keep getting simular questions over and over again about the same topic, you are probably answering incorrectly. I had a lot of questions with the 'check all the boxes that apply' or 'number in order' or 'click and drag' answers to choose from. I was not happy at the time. I was also told that is a good sign, because those type of questions are the 'above average' questions. You have passed the average questions on that particular topic. Anyways, I PASSED and all that matters is I am a proud RN now! Let us know when you get your results! I'll be praying for ya!
