I went in and things started off slow and ok. Then 2 of the aides got pulled to 2 different floors, so our day shift aide came in (we had one call off this morning, but she's called off for the last 3 days, so we pretty much have learned not to count on her) and things were good... till about 2200.... then everyone started pooping and needed beds changed. Of course, this is my end of shift and I&O's time to get done. Had 3 admits too. Vitals got done at 2330 (time to punch out) and charting took another half hour. I was busy all night long, so it was a good thing... and so satisfying to see those last 35 seconds...

I even did a Happy Dance in the middle of the hallway.
