MCdonalds in Hospital

What would you think if your local hospital had a Mcdonalds on the hospital grounds. Wouldnt it be even funnier if your hospital was one of the top 100 cardiovascular facilities in the country.
Of course the families and patients love it, but the dieticans hate it.............
Not naming names.........

Not sure how my hospital ranks nationally, but I know that they claim to be the best in the area cardiac wise.

And I myself also enjoyed an on-campus Bic Mac for lunch during my 12 hour shift yesterday.

Job security, I guess.

I think patients, visitors and staff would enjoy some tasty fast food, but it sure is hypocritical! I mean, ever seen the "nutritional" stats of a big mac? holy crap! (don't get me wrong, I've been known to partake, hehe)........but it certainly seems......counterproductive. As Heather said above-job security?!

crazy world we live in.....

gotta admit, it's pretty funny.

My dad was in the hospital in November and December, and there was a McD's there. They had a smaller menu than regular McD's, and also a few different things--like hot soup.

I would love to have a Burger king or even subway in my hospital. Some days our cafeteria food is just plain pitiful.

Actually, my hospital is getting really strict on their no smoking policy.

My theory is because one of the competing hospitals is the one that boasts great cancer treatment.

The hospital my mom used to work at had a Subway, which I thought was a great combination of healthy food, and non-cafeteria slop.
