Need Information - international medical graduate, and PCT, MA

Hi,
I am a medical graduate from non us school. Currently i am preparing to get my license in USA, it may take me one year. So in the mean time i want to work in hospitals. I have CNA cert, and i want to apply patient care tech position or medical assistant. Well i think in MA there are some clerical activities, while in PCT I don't think. In both positions i will take vital signs, EKG, PHLEBOTOMY. Beside these what makes common and different MA and PCT? I would like to get some information about this. Hospital experience will be useful for my future position in residency. I don't what other positions i can work beside PCT and MA. May be CMT if i find. Please i need some info before deciding
