I am so grateful...

On this last day of the year, I'm feeling a bit reflective.

I am so grateful...

For a loving, supportive husband.

For food in my fridge and a roof over my head.

For family and friends who can, after all these years, make me laugh myself silly.

For my loving pets.

That my health issues are, when you come down to it, minor.

That I am finally pursuing my dream of becoming a nurse.

That I found this website, where I am learning so much before I ever set foot inside a nursing classroom. The collective spirit of the members of this site is reassuring and inspiring.

Your turn...

Re: I am so grateful...

That I have a Savior who cares about me, wants a relationship with me, and loves me so very much

That I am physically able to continue my chosen profession

That I will probably always have a job because of my profession

That I finally have a NM who listens, cares, and wants to make things better

For my amazing son who turns 16 tomorrow (New Year's Baby... happy birthday Josh) but usually doesn't act like he is 16!

And for so many other things but I just don't have time because I have to finish the details of Josh's party!
:hatparty:
Blessings and best of everything to all nurses everywhere!

I am so very grateful for:

A loving and supportive family

Wonderful friends

Relatively good health

Being able to work in a profession I love (despite the bad days)

A home, car, food, clothing

Wonderful co-workers

and, most importantly, the God that has made it all possible.

Happy New Year everyone.

Talking Re: I am so grateful...

I am grateful for my supportive husband

For my very best deepest friendships I have ( I can count on one hand)

And for the spirit that keeps telling me not to give up when I feel the worst.

I am also very grateful for all the men and women who have had to fight this war for our freedom and for doing such a great job. I can't think of anything harder to do, and with the humility they carry on through it.

Happy 2008.
