Houston Nursing Salaries

Don't know where to post this but I am relocating to Houston and want to know a few things. I know the Texas Medical Center is a great spot to be employed but i'm wondering if you go to Texas Community and get your RN there does it really matter where you go to school? How much do nurses start out with in Houston and how many per day and day's per week? Any info would be appreciated.
