Writing an entrance essay can be so stressful...I remember when I wrote mine. The school I was applying to requested a personal statement (how vague, right???) I started out writing lists of ideas, then putting ideas into an outline, eventually forming an essay. I revised it so many times, having friends who were really good with essays (a journalist and someone who worked in college administration) read it and offer their opinions and suggestions. Having others read my essay really helped me. I put a lot of work into the essay, and I think it really showed. Oh, and also I went to the bookstore and bought a book about college admission essays, that gave me some ideas too.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
Maureen
