help

Hi. I'm just new here in Australia. I attended a program where they will assess overseas RN's like me to test whether we are competent enough to practise here before giving us our registration. I'm currently waiting for the results of my clinical assessment. My first assessor passed me but the second one failed me but I was given another chance. I'm really scared right now and start freezing everytime the phone rings. I came here with a three months visa and will be expiring next week. I may only be able to apply for a bridging visa when I find an employer.
While waiting, I thought of starting to make a cover letter and a resume though i'm not yet sure if I passed (just want to be ready).
It's my first time to apply. I've been a nurse in my country for a year but i never tried applying for a job because for that one year, I worked as a volunteer.
Can anyone help me with my cover letter please? ...and what are the common questions they ask in the interview?
