No "flaming" of other members is allowed and if someone does this to you, please do not respond directly. Instead, report the post and let the moderator team take care of this for you.

Well, that should get you started. And, we hope you enjoy allnurses.com and participate often. We are a community of nurses (and future nurses) who enjoy being at the service of each other!

Re: Help

Time management is a huge thing! Have you been going through all of nursing school this stressed? Usually schools have a place on campus that can help you set a plan for the demands of school (though for the life of me I cannot think of what it is called right now). I would check that out!

1. Read your class material before hand and highlight the main points in your book.
2. In class try to mostly listen and not frantically write down every word the prof says. If you read it in the book you don't have to write it down. Just highlight it if you didn't earlier. Just write down new things.
3. Review it again the evening after class
4. Review it briefly every day.
5. If you drive any distance record your notes and listen on the way to/from school.

Re: Help

Flash cards are a help to me also. They work great for quick review just about anywhere and you learn so much just writing them out. I keep mine separated by topic in different recipie boxes and I go back and review them all the time even if we are done with that particular topic.
