And Happy Mother's Day to the woman who cannot have children but is a mentor to someone younger than herself; to the woman who was pregnant and nurtured her unborn only to miscarry; to the woman who raises another woman's child because the birth mother cannot; to the woman who married a man with kids and isn't "counted" on Mother's day because she's *just* a stepmom and the kids already have a mom. . . .

On Mother's Day, please don't just embrace the birth moms . . . there are plenty of women with the heart of a mother that are overlooked.
