i plan on attending a local community college for their nursing program.Do you have a better chance on getting into school if you have all your preq. courses done?? and is it hard getting into nursing scool??

The community colleges (and other colleges as well) in my area accept students into the nursing program based on the GPA you receive in those pre-req courses and the nursing entrance exam, usually the TEAS, so they must be completed prior to beginning the program. Getting into nursing school is generally competitive so keeping your grades up and scoring well on the entrance exam is a must.

depends on the school. you have to call them and research yourself. no one on here can answer school-specific admission policies. some schools give extra points for having all pre-req/support courses done and others don't.

Strong suggestion? Improve your typing skills, you're going to need them for all those papers!

depends on the program....some use GPA, some use "points"....
some use a combo of a entrance exam, and the number of pre-reqs you have done or are doing...so the best answer is to call your CC and talk to whoever runs that for the students...
