Getting disgusted with my search

I am in search of a home study LPN to RN program.
I have been online and the phone talking to different companies claiming to be "the best".
Has anyone gone through the I Study Smart program?
I need a workbook program. Not a program where I have to sit in front of the computer for long periods of time.
Thanks!

I work at a college while I am getting my ADN. Be careful what program you choose to do to get the RN license, as some programs are not regionally accredited, which means credits from them aren't recognized at most schools (meaning if you wanted to go on and get a BSN or masters, you might have to start over!).

Many nursing programs may not accept CLEP, DSST or ECE credit, either. The college I work for (and also attend their nursing program) doesn't accept ANY of these for credit towards their program. They don't even accept nursing credit transferring from other colleges/universities!

Excelsior College only requires one weekend clinical to get the ASN. That seems very inadequate. My ASN program requires 16 hours of clinical per week!!

Also, make sure your state board recognizes nursing degrees from Excelsior. There are a handful of states who do not.

Hi-the hospital system I just interviewed with promotes the I Study Smart program so it must be reputable. That's all I know! Good luck!

I second the "make it sure its' accredited". Yes, they will sell and tell you anything. However, its on you to ensure you can sit for the NCLEX-RN after you study. Good luck.
