Have you completed TSE? Have you completed CGFNS? Even if you obtain an interim permit from the Board of Nursing, there isn't a hospital that will offer you a job. Taking it from the other side, why should a hospital offer you a position based on ?????.. You have had no previous documented owrk experience in the US as a nurse or nursing student, so how do they know what your skills measure measure up to? And language skills? You must complete the NCLEX to be able to work as a nurse in the US, no matter what country you trained in, even the US. NY will grant you an interim permit, BUT only if you have taken and passes CGFNS.

Which country did you train in? Nursing in the US is very different than most of the countries. You have alot more responsibility for what you are doing and can be held legally accountable for everything. The hospital is also liable.
Without completing all of your exams, no RN jobs. What type of Visa are you currently on?

Again, you are forgetting the most important part...................
What type of visa are you currently on? The hospial CAN NOTsponsor you for a visa without you taking one of the nursing exams. So unless you already have a work permit from a spouse, etc., there is no way to work even if you have an interim permit. The hospitals can't do it. Ad there are no longer any H1-B visas available.

Please do not be offended by this. I am just trying to give you the correct information.

Good luck!

Congratulations, but remember that you never said that you had permanent resident status. I asked that of you several responses if you look above. I can't provide adequate info without the proper answers. You may ahve offers but again, you will get the best offers if you can get your exams completed. The faster that you complete your exams, the fresher the info will be with you. No matter which area that gives you a job, the information learned on that unit will not get you through all of the areas on the exams.
This is the point that I have been trying to make to you. And I am telling you from my experience, I do this on a daily basis for foreign students and nurses, and the best offers come to the ones that have completed NCLEX. With that exam completed, you could walk inot any hospital anywhere and get offered a job, but wihtout it, you are looking for someone that will take you. You should be in the driver seat, not the hospital.

Best of luck to you.
