I was watching the Discovery Health Channel and got to wondering, How many of us who are in the medical field watch this channel and what is your favorite DHC program. My favorite programs are:

I don't know which is my fav... I love just about all of the shows... my husband gets upset every time I turn it on DHC because he says its "gross"... but I am just so interested in it... I would have to say however I really do enjoy "critical hour" as well.

It's funny you mentioned your husband getting grossed out. I don't want to hijack the thread here, but I can watch any health surgery blood guts whatever related show while we are eating dinner whenever. My DH on the other hand can not. Where I simply can not watch any type of animal show while I am eating. I don't care if its blood and guts animal or simply just a basic animal show I can't watch it while I am eating.
Any how back to the original topic I absolutely love Discovery Health I also like to watch a lot of the programs on TLC. The one that I thought was interesting the other day was about a female body builder. Wow! I really like Critical Hour, Trauma Life in The ER, Dr. G Medical Examininer, Skeleton Stories and on Court TV I like Forensic Files and the one with Dale Hineman the female profiler. (can you tell I'm into forensics?)

I like Critical Hour the best, but all the shows are great. My husband also HATES when I have it on. He can watch the bloodiest, most sadistic horror movies, but can't handle watching what goes on in an ER.

My favorites are Real Life Trauma in the ER and anything other show that has anything to do with the ER. I also like Critical Hour.

Is Birth day on this channel. I forget but when Iam expecting I watch these shows back to back... Its like my pre- birth training....

I LOVE Discovery Health Channel! It's probably my favorite channel. I think my favorites are:

The one thing I don't like about DHC is that it seems like they have a lot of shows like "The 1000 Pound Man" and "The Baby With Two Heads" and "I Am My Own Grandma" and... well, just a lot of shows about people with these freakish diagnoses and disorders, and what purpose do they serve other than satisfying our curiousity and getting ratings for the channel? Then again, I guess that's the main objective when it comes to all of the shows on the channel perhaps, but still.... I would prefer to see Discovery Channel networks, which in the past have shown programs that are educational and beneficial... I would like to see them take a higher ground and not show programs that to me, are more exploitative than anything else.

I love DHC! My husband just can't take it! I like all the ER stuff. When my tv is on it just kinda tunes in to that channel!
