I'm looking for stories/experiences from nurses who have worked with the Vietnamese community. (This would contribute to my background in a transcultural nursing project for nursing school.) Have you come across any stereotyping from other healthcare providers as they work with this community?

There was a lady (nurse) I just watched speak in Dyersville, Iowa. She now lives in Denver, Colorado. She writes for the chicken soup books. I can't remember her name but she participated in operation baby lift in Vietnam. All her books talk about it.
